Whats your favourite Flavour?

Advantages: A huge variery of flavours to suit every taste
Disadvantages: None

I first tried Jelly Belly Beans when I was attracted to the colourful display within a Selfridges, since then they are one of my favourite indulgancies. You can either buy them in a pick and mix style from department stores (watch out this can get costly) in small bags usually for different taste types (such as sours or sports) or if you're lucky enough like me a giant tray with 50 flavours all sepearted into different comparents with a guide on ...
...sets jelly bellys apart from other jelly beans is the huge variety of flavours, the intense taste and the general texture. The website states there are only 4 calories per bean and zero fat, they dont contain gelatine and are certified kosher and vegetarian. If you want to try before you buy, go and visit the website and they send out sample packs (they are tiny bags though with only about 5 in each ) My faveourite flavours include candy floss, berry ...

Tastiest sweets ever?

Advantages: Best sweets ever
Disadvantages: Not kind to your teeth

Haribo has to be by far my favourite food product ever! I am completely addicted and actually fantasise about it when I haven't had any for a week, sad I know! I think this addiction started when I was introduced to it from a very young age as I used to live in Germany the home of the Haribo, and the love of it has stayed with me since. Haribo has been around a long time. Since 1920 in fact, when it was created by Hans Riegel Sr in Bonn. The name ...
...exhibition about the history of Haribo in 2006, in Germany! I suppose I would call Starmix the 'classic' Haribo mix and it's probably the most well known and popular. It stands out from the shelf with it's bright blue packaging and features an eye catching picture of a child taking of in a red and yellow rocket amongst stars and planets. 'Haribo Starmix' is in bold and it also features the tagline 'Kids & Grownups love it so, the happy world of Haribo' ...

GaGa For Jelly Babies!

Advantages: Sweet & fruity flavour, good texture & consistency without being too hard or too chewy
Disadvantages: Addictive

Mmm Mmm Mmm... I can't get enough of these cute little babies! Jelly Babies are made by Bassetts, a very popular and trustworthy brand, and so you expect good quality products from them. I would say these are good quality, and definitely superior to other similar versions I've tried, such as supermarket own brands. A 215g bag of Jelly Babies usually costs around £1 - £1.40 (though they're often on offer, especially Morrisons at around 69p, so it's ...
...come in funky bright yellow packaging. For your money, I've worked out that you get approx 35 baby shaped jelly sweets. They're also available in treat size bags which are good if you only want a small amount, but they're definitely not value for money. Morrisons sell these at 25p, and you get a handful of mini-sized babies. Box versions of Jelly Babies are also available which would make a good present (anyone who bought me a boxful of these would ...

Maoam stripes - yum

Advantages: yummy , well packaged
Disadvantages: you'll be hiooked

Maoam stripes to be honest I think I have been living under a rock when it comes to this product! I only had one for the first time the other day when someone brought them to work, now I can see why they are Haribo's top selling product ! They are really juicy chewy mini bars that are handy for snacking out and about. There are a few different flavours you can tell what they are by the fruit characters on the front. My particular favourite is the ...
...are actually really amusing and provided myself and my work colleagues with a few giggles the other day! I think another thing that makes these little bars so popular is that there is not really A competitor out there, no one seems to have made a main stream copy - I am sure one of the supermarkets will eventually though, someone will want a share of that £10 million turnover. Though I have to say they will have to be good as the price on these babies ...

Review of Haribo Maoam Stripes

A bit of sourness, like me

Advantages: The Cherry's are brilliant, the sweets on the whole are great
Disadvantages: Not many cherry's, too many keys

...life more fun have been Haribo who have been releasing jelly based sweets almost none stop for the last few years. The clever marketing of Haribo has been aimed not just at the kids who you'd expect a sweet campaign to be aimed at, but also trying to extend the market to the rest of us with an advert aimed as much as adults as at kids. “Kids and Grown ups love it so, the happy world of Haribo”appealing to the kids inside everyone of us and breaking ...
...a silly thought in the first place that had sadly started to be seen as true. The range of sweets, although mainly jelly based is actually quite large from these fizzy sweets to regular none fizzy sweets such as as Strawbs and pontefract cakes in the UK. Despite their recent growth in the UK the company was formed in 1920 in Germany by Hans Riegel (the “Ha” an “ri” in Haribo, with the “bo” coming from “Bonn” the place their made). Despite the rest ...
