Advantages: Photo and Video (with sound) all in one brilliant camera Disadvantages: Battery Life and No Optical Zoom
...The A300 is a really nice inexpensive (prices from about £110) that takes excellent quality photos (up to 3.2 MegaPixels) as well as being able to take 60 seconds (on the 16Mb memory card it comes with) of video with sound (up to 640x480 in resolution).
Despite looking a bit cheap and plasticky (as the price would suggest it would be) the Powershot A300 is an excellent solid little camera. It features a sliding lens cover, which when pulled back all the way (I say this as it is easy not to take it back far enough and wonder why it isn’t working), you will turn the camera on and the 1.5inch LCD screen on the back will light up.
