Overview : The logitech dual action gamepad is a cheap an honest USBgamepad, suitable for most PC games. I have owned one since august 2006 originally purchased from argos for £19.99.
The controller consists of 11 buttons, a multidirection pad and 2 joysticks.
Installation : I found installation of this product to be simple and hassle free, the cd included is easy to understand and provides support in plain language, the driver installation is a simple one click process however most systems running Windows XP will not require a driver to be installed.
Compatibility : I have never had any problems with this controller in any game i have used it with, the buttons are easy to map to game functions and it is simple to calibrate within windows if necessary.

I enjoy playing racing games with my keyboard but I thought using a game controller would be a better option. It would make multiplayer on the same computer much easier as one player could use the controller while the other uses the keyboard. I actually tried having two player on the same keyboard but it was really bad because when you press two keys at the same time, one of the keyboard signals will get blocked out.
Anyway, I chose this controller because it resembles a Playstation controller.I shopped around in Dixons and Argos to see which store had the better deal and I found out that Argos sold the exact same controller for £19.99 which was £5 less than Dixons. and running. No installation CD's needed, no silly windows, nothing simply plug it in to a USB1.0 compatible port and hey presto. It even works with Windows Vista all levels and any system below.
The only problem about this controller is now finding one. I don't believe they still manufacture these, so your best bet is to go a computer second hand store and rummage for one of these. Trust me use all of your bargain hunting skills because this is a gem.
