relief for 56kmodem users, who really see very little of the Internet due to unreliable connections.
As well as offering the user resumeable downloads (if the web page you are downloading from supports resume) it also includes some other rather natty features; including:
*** Scheduler - you can drag and drop downloads from your
Browser into Real Download and then schedule downloads to
commence at a certain time.
*** Auto-ShutDown / Disconnect - once your downloads have
finished Real Download offers the option to automatically
shut-down or disconnect from the Internet.

------ One year on into the service and heres an Update------
I received a letter from NTL just the other day containing some rather bad news. They are axing their 64k cable modem service. I have only had this service for one year and was really disappointed by the news as it offered excellent value for money. Well were else could you get an always on 64k connection for just £6 per month? They have left me with four choices;
1. Upgrade to their 128k cable modem service (£14.99 per month)
2. Switch to their dialup serve (£10 per month)
3. Switch to another ISP (either pay and go or something like BT anytime £15.99 per month)
4. Don’t have internet connection anymore
I have chosen option 1 from the list above. I begrudge having to pay over twice as much for a service that is only twice as fast but I still think it ...
