Wireless Usb 54Mbps G Compact

Advantages: Plug and play, easy to use.
Disadvantages: It is external, meaning not inside your computer.

This product is very reliable great for people on the go, or even at home. Good office use and offers speeds that will satisfy anyones needs. There is only one inconvenience though, the fact that it is external. Since it is external there is always a better chance of it breaking, or being lost. Linksys is the leading networking brand and is very reliable, and there when you need it. The software provided gives you an easy to use network monitor which gives you the option to connect to what network you wish, save the network as a profile, and show the best link connection/speed. It has support for USB 2.0 and also USB 1.1 so it will work great on older computers. It is compatible with Windows 98SE, 2000, ME, XP, and also Vista. It has two wireless network modes 802.11g and 802.11b and is also compatible with 128-bit encryption. ...

Review of Linksys Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter WUSB54GC

Xbox 360 wireless adapter

Advantages: Does exactly what is required of it
Disadvantages: too expensive

The xbox 360 wireless adapter is essentially, exactly what it says on the tine, it is only required as a neccesity to get onto xbox live in a place usin a wireless network, microsfot have seized on this opportunity to charge over the odds for a small piece of plastic , retailing in the region of £60 , especially when you consider the nintendo Wii has a wireless adapter built in. As a product, the adapter is easy to install, clipping onto the back of the console, reliable and discreet, offering flawless online gameplay as if it were connected via ethernet cable. The only downside to this is the price and i for one feel it should be included in the console package to fully compete with other consoles ...

Review of Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter Network adapter

xbox 360 wireless adapter

Advantages: Works quite well most the time
Disadvantages: very expensive

i got one of these because i didn't want wires everywhere in our house. when i first put it in it wouldn'tt connect up to my wireless router(linksys). i called up a help line and they said that they had no idea how to fix it so i ended up having to buy a new one (netgear). with this it works well most of them time but if it doesn't always work. i think that may be down to the router but it may be the adapter. anyway it works most the time pretty well. i think it is ridiculously over priced thought. When i got it it was £60. but i needed it because i didn't want a load of wires around the house. i thnk they are fairly good and work most of the time but are over priced. ...
