Swiftcover Motor Insurance

When searching for the cheapest insurance quote, Swiftcover were at the top of the list beating many of the others by at least 10%. My actual quote saved me 12% which was just over £100 for me, six months car tax paid for just like that!

When you come to insure your car with them, you do the usual filling in forms online with all your details, they then confirm the premium price, with my policy legal cover was included and my windscreen excess is only £50. If you have any no claims bonus, you have to post them the copy of this from your previous insurer. Once they have this they send a letter to acknowledge it, and touch wood you don't hear from them again until its renewal time!

When dealing with swiftcover, you have an internet log in, here you can view your policy details, your insurance certificate, your no claims details etc etc... it saves a lot of time waiting for a call centre to pick up your call. This is very good as i don't like keeping documents everywhere, with Swift i can just print the certificate when i need to tax the car, no hunting through filing cabinets looking for it.

When i was buying a new car, i didn't even shop around, Swift is so easy to use, for me, it is not worth changing. Just log on to your swift account, you can put in your new car details and it will tell you what the difference in cost will be. It also saves all your quotes so if you are looking at a few cars, all the details are saved on your account.

It is the same when you are adding a driver, I was able to add my girlfriend for a week when we drove to France, the extra cost was peanuts and very simple to do.

Although Swiftcover is mainly an online company, you can contact them by phone, the only time i have ever needed to call them was when i had forgot my username and password. I was in the queue only for around 3minutes which is excellent compared to others, when my girlfriend needs to speak to Elephant she can wait for up to 15minutes!

Overall i cannot praise Swiftcover enough, they have been brilliant for me, ease of use, very competitive quotes and a good customer service team. If only all insurance companies were more like this.
