Prices are good - they have a significant discount on what you would get if buying direct from carcraft - the car I was looking at was advertised at £8.4k with switchcar, and £9.6 on ... ...same level of customer service as carcraft, so I'd suggest they should be avoided.

The car wasn't immaculate, there were some significant issues with it, but I still thought the price was competitive. However, they suffer from the same level of customer service as carcraft, so I'd suggest they should be avoided.

It was only as I was about to pay that I asked to check the service history - which it turned out did not exist. No apologies from salesman, just his assertion that the car still had a manufacturers warranty. But we all know that 'No full service history = No manufacturers warranty'. Suddenly the car looked rather less of a bargain, so I decided to go and buy a car from a more reputable establishment.

I have been looking for an Audi A3 Sportback for a good few months but the prices and condition of the cars i have seen have been poor. I recently stumbled across Switchcar on Autotrader, they stood out as the 05/55 plate they had advertised was priced around the 04/54 plates for sale. The advert told me all i wanted to know and even highlighted a very slight scuff to one of the alloys with a description and close up picture. After successfully booking ... ...a member of staff who gave me a brief description of the car and left me with the keys to have a proper look. After a quick testdrive and a review of the full Audi main dealer history it had (something i was really pleased about) i had purchased and was on my way home in my new car 30mins later - with 7 days free insurance and free guarantee! Quick review of Switch Car Car Supermarket
I found Switchcar not only good value, but the customer service was also good. I went to visit there Rochdale site to view a BMW 320D. The car was left inside the showroom and was therefore clean and in pretty good condition.
The car was in good condition and i felt that they treated me very kindly. They were honest on the phone when i asked about the condition of the car and were happy to reserve the car for me for just £100.
All-in-all a good service at a good price. ...

...all sorts of people at switch and carcraft - some were on holiday and messages never passed on, others didnt have authority, others simply tried to sell me other cars I didnt want. They failed on 5 occasions to transport new car to my local branch. I organised transport by visiting the source site. Even when it arrived the staff had no idea what was happening. I had to find it and push the sale. Switch car people - very helpful and polite but their ... ...agents let them down, Carcraft people -incompetent and generally unhelpful.
If you want a cheaper car, that is in fairness of a good quality, and have the time to mess around then great, if you want a quick purchase at slightly higher price there are others that are far more proactive and rate far higher on the helpful scale. ...

I called Switch Car after seeing an ad on AutoTrader for the exact car I was looking for. The call was answered okay and I was encouraged to put down a deposit on the phone which I was nervous about. I'm not convinced that I would have got this money back if I hadn't proceeded with the purchase though. However I did buy the car - it was a good price.
