My mum purchased Willow Hall for my daughter some time ago now, as a starter piece this is fantastic but it does not come with any furniture, so four years down the line we still have plenty of ideas for christmas and birthdays. The village is constantly growing, we refer to it as Silvaniaville!

The country living room furniture set was one of the first furniture purchases we made, we wanted something that quickly filled the house without spending too much money. I think that this set more than fit the bill.

The set contained a large selection of larger furniture pieces but also has all sorts of little bits and bobs. It comes with a lovely flowery padded sofa and arm chair these are plastic wood effect framed with padded fabric covers. There is also a little coffee table with matching magazine rack. The fire is really sweet battery operated and working it has a really pleasant glow, it looks really homely in the living room when lit. The little bits and bobs finish this set off lovely, there is an old fashioned phone to go on the coffee table and a lovely little mantle clock for on the fire place. Cups photos and magazines and newspapers are lovely little finishing touches.

Although the smaller things are fiddly for little fingers this is a lovely starter set that fills a room nicely. The attention to detail is fantastic as you would expect from sylvanian families. The pieces are tiny but are still strong they dont fall apart too easily.
