...After buying a brand new computer last November complete with a trial of Norton and having no problems for 3 months, I decided that Norton were the "way ahead" with Anti-virus programs and therefore shelled out a costly £60 for the Norton 360.
Installation was simple, consisting of a program that apparently enabled the removal of all other Norton programs that had been previously installed. I also installed the same program on two other computers in the house, as this is a feature of the program, up to 3 computers can share the antivirus for a year. This all seemed amazingly simple for a simple computer user like myself and therefore my initial thoughts of Norton 360 were impressive.
This didnt last long..... after having the product installed only a couple of days I recieved a message on-screen saying there was a problem.. Norton...

...I've Had Norton 360 for about a year now and all I can say is WOW, this internet security software is perfect for doing all the worrying for you, so that you don't have to worry about getting any viruses and any other security matter.
Norton 360 does what it says on the tin, its protects you to the fullest, and with the fast software application function it also makes your computer speed up a lot faster.
The intervenes of the software is easy to use and very efficient indeed, I will carry on using Norton 360 internet security and the experience I've had with this software is been very good indeed,
Would like to say thanks to Norton 360 and you have a customer for life now...

Advantages: None I have removed it Disadvantages: It doesn't work
...I strongly advise anyone thinking of buying this product to think again. I installed it on my laptop and desktop in late December. Throughout most of January I have been communicating with their technical support, the longest period being 5 hours 40 mins, to get it to work on the laptop. It blocks access to the internet, blocks emails and generally screws up the whole computer. They have given up and so have I. I have removed it and loaded a different product and now operation is slowly returning to normal. It took ages to undo all the changes. The chat sessions even filled up the hard disk, 8Gb being just one session of many. I am now having the same trouble with the desktop and so Symantec will be getting their software back with a demand for a refund. I have tried to give it zero stars but the system won't allow it....
