stage I was becoming angry and felt very let down by Symantec, once again I Tried t speak to Live chat... this time the guy kept dissapearing for 7 or 8 minutes between questions which in the end became very frustrating and so I left the conversation.
I have emailed Symantec with my complaints but as yet have had no reply or offer of refund. I have since completely deleted the whole program and have downloaded AVG a free antivirus program, which in my opinion works just as well. ...

NortonSystemworks is a great way to bring your system old or new back to a good condition. It optimises performance, fixes and prevents problems, cleans out internet clutter, and recovers from system failure.
There are some programs you buy to do a specific job in your daily work. There are some you buy to have fun. There are some you buy to make your PC work better. And there are some that might just save your rear end some day. The Norton Utilities definitely fall into the latter two categories; they've been around for donkey's years (or so it would seem), and in more recent times have also been offered as part of NortonSystemWorks. Symantec has been good about updating SystemWorks for newer versions of Windows, and SystemWorks 2002 is their release for Windows XP, though the same package works with Windows 98, Windows Me ...
