...Philips is one of the best voice software packages I have ever used. It can recognise your speech even if you are talking at a normal speed, unlike other voice software packages, where you have to talk slowly for the voice package to actually work. It like all other voice packages does need a lot of training to get the program working just right. It is not that expensive either, at around30 pounds, depending on where you buy it from. If you are thinking of getting a voice recognition package, then I suggest that you get this one....

...I have used the shareware version of this package, but actually use Dreamweaver 1.2 which came free with a magazine. I couldn't afford to buy the software but I would recommend to an employer.
This is a WYSIWYG package which means you don't need to worry too much about the HTML code, although you can bring this up if you need to.
It is very easy to use, the latest version allows such thing as rollover graphics. The program creates the javascript automatically.
This is very professional package but this does not make it daunting in any way....

Advantages: Great for the beginner Disadvantages: limitation of preset styles
...Sound Studio is a really clever software based midi sequencing program that comes with absolutely loads of cool gadgets that are easy to use, entertaining and great for any budding would be musician.
In the package i purchased i also had a midi keyboard complete with all leads and software including Piano Tutoring Program.
The basics of the Sound Studio package enable people to create chords and sequences immediately with virtually no knowledge at all, it teaches you all about midi as you go along, and even comes with sample tunes and the ability to add lyrics in both wav and text format.
The completepackage with keyboard can be purchased for around £100 so it's obviously a steal for those who want to get started with midi, without breaking the bank....
