Advantages: Fast Machine, Helpful Sales & Support Staff Disadvantages: None
...I bought my computer from Simply 3 months ago. The reason I bought from Simply is because they have a good reputation and are owned by Symantec, who develop Norton Products.
It's an AMD Athlon 750 machine, with a Soundblaster 1024 Liveplayer Sound Card, and a Matrox G400 Graphics Card.
This is my 3rd computer and it's the best I've owned, it's powerful and very fast. Since upgrading to windows ME, i've not had a single crash or blue screen of death. I recommend an AMD Athlon based machine over a Pentium 3 Based machine anyday, as I find the AMD Athlon to be the faster processor. I've had no problems with this computer and recommend Simply Computers to anyone. Their sales staff are most helpful in helping you to decide which machine suits your needs, and will even build one to your specific requirements....

Advantages: Good quality, customisable, good support Disadvantages: Return to base warranty

Systemax is a good option for anyone who want's a PC that isn't standard spec, since you wont be paying for something you don't need. It also offers good value on it's standard pre-built systems and offers a better service than the 'box-shifting' computer superstores. Take a few minutes to compare them against what else is on offer....

After 10 days I got it back with a note saying that there was nothing wrong with it and that it had undergone vigorous checks. However, as soon as I started working, the same problems started occuring.
Yes, you guessed it, I sent it back again. Now, it took them two weeks to figure out that there was nothing wrong with it, and sent it back to me.
Third time, four months later and probably 50 complains, Simply agreed to rebuild my PC.
I got my new PC at last, and everything seems fine. there are a few minor problems that I try not pay attention to. e.g. it doesn't play audio CDs,
When I phoned up the tech support to ask why, they recommended I...
