I was lucky enough to purchase my Tag 4000 on ebay in 2003 from a seller in Switzerland, and I have NEVER had a single problem with the automatic movement. All it requires is wearing it everyday. If I miss a Sunday or the whole weekend, I might have to self-wind it to catch it up, but this should be expected with an automatic movement. You either have to place the watch in an automatic winding device, or you have to catch it up yourself before wearing it again. I doubt if there was anything wrong at all with the previous reviewer's watch. From his review, it sounds like he didn't know much about automatics. I had never had an automatic watch before my Tag, but I won't buy another quartz if I can help it. I have more problems with watch batteries. I love this Tag automatic!

Advantages: Quality, reputation, solid, diving potential, the tests they go through. Disadvantages: Automatics are a nightmare, too expensive, can do a lot better, you wonder if yours was ever tested.
