Advantages: easy to use, YEAR END FORMS A DODDLE Disadvantages: none so far
I use TAS Payroll on a daily basis in my job as an Accountant.
I find it easy to setup and to use, and it makes the End Of Year paperwork a complete doddle.
I am writing this review for people who know what I am talking about, so will not be explaining the nature of the forms etc!

6. Post payroll and update totals.
They are right about this. The software comes in a box with CD and booklet. Insert CD into CD-Rom and follow instructions. Easy.

Advantages: Easy to correct transactions Disadvantages: Not intuitive
As an accountant, I have experience with accounting software, I have been using Sage and Quickbooks for 3 years and now I'm trying TASBooks.

On SAGE you put all the details all in 1 line (account, ref, nominal code, description, net, vat, finished, job done!)
The overhall layout is very clunky, I think it needs a couple of version to upgrade itself and start to be competitive to SAGE. Until ...
Advantages: Really easy to use, helpful tool for your business Disadvantages: can be a bit pricey depending on package
I have had to completely rewrite this review, as the previous one was outdated and referred to the old product title and was misleading.
TasBooks 3 Controller is Accounting software from Tas Software. The company claim that it can save you hours of paperwork.
Well, I would have to agree with them. I am sorry if this reveiw gets a bit technical, but I am an Accountant, and presumably this review will be read by people looking for an Accounting Software package, and they will know what I mean!
TasBooks Controller has the following features:
