TD Waterhouse has definately gone down hill

Advantages Cheap but not as much as they used to be
Disadvantages Arrogant
I think that AdonisC beat me to it.
I have also been a frequent trader at TD Waterhouse for many years. Infact, I opened my account with them back in 1992 - when they were Sharemarket. Over the years, I have seen the service go down hill, there is definately an air of arrogance amongst the dealing staff and credit control dept. In the old days, they wanted our business but now they can afford to be rude to customers.I have build up a large number of holdings in my nominee account with them and am looking to move it away from them.
Any recommendations?

I know exactly what you mean! Their recently introduced account inactivity charge was the final straw for me. It is not the brightest charge to introduce when private punters are staying away from the market in droves. I've used Sharenet (also in Manchester) for about a year, and am transfering all TDW to them. Half the price too (£8 a trade for less than £1k)! Good luck.
