I registered with TD Waterhouse after a friend at work found out how much I paid to my bank for doing a couple of reasonably small trades. After the initial registration on the PC, which I found to be very thorough. The next stage is a bit of a bore. i.e the leagal bit, having to send documents etc. After this however I found the web site to be very straitforward to navigate and the way in which you make a trade very easy. I have found them to be very helpfull on the phone on the couple of occaisions that I have needed to call them. One of the areas that I have found to be of most use is the company history section. This can obviously help you to decide wether or not to go ahead with any deal. I would recommend them without hesitation.
