I set up an account with TD Waterhouse & regretted it! They lost a £1000 cheque I sent to them to go into my share account. I complained about this and was ignored. After a lot of phone calls, I eventually got through to someone who could help and after having to get a copy of my cheque from my bank got my money back. This all took 5 months!!!
I have since switched to e-trade.co.uk who are much better. Money transfers take place by direct debit which is much simpler
