My hair is constantly suffering identity crises, it can never decide whether its frizzy or curly or greasy or what. At the moment its frizzy and I cant go more than 24 hours without needing to wash it again. I used to be lucky enough to be able to go three days with it staying clean looking, feeling, smelling. Ive tried aton of shampoos and conditioners.
I bought my Control Freak from the Clothesshow Live last December. It was cheaper there and I got a set of 4 matching products for just 20 quid, not bad going considering they're close to £10 each in salons.
You can buy your Bed Head online, ion several hair and beauty websites, as well as in many salons. The packaging is always interesting and brightly coloured, you definately notice Bed Head when you walk past a display in a salon window. The products always smell lovely too. The Control Freak products smell of pineapple sweeties. Very yum and mouthwatering when youre washing your hair in th shower.
Bed Head have a massive range of products available to deal with all kinds of hair. All the products are fit to be displayed on your dressing table or on your bathroom shelf, dont lock them away in a copboard, theyre too vibrant and pretty!
Control Freak claims to 'stomp the curl and fight the frizz' Now, when I wash my hair with this and then let my hair dry naturally, its still as frizzy as ever. I cant really say that the product is effective, because whatever I use, I use GHD's to straighten my hair. I could use a product that was meant to make your hair afro big and my hair would still be sleek after using my straighteners.
I have thick hair so maybe this product would work better for someone who's hair is thinner, however, saying that the product itself is very thick, gloopy and heavy so it might over power thin hair and make it look greasy and make it harder to get volume. The only way to find out if this is right for you is to try it. I dont think that samples are currently available but you could try and email the manufacturer and ask them.
The shampoo itself is a yellow/green thick gel like liquid. It lathers up really nicely on the hair and washes out easily. This is one of the only shampoos that I have ever used that didnt require conditioner to help remove all the shampoo. Unlike with some shampoos, this doesnt leave your hair feeling dry and knotty immediately after the wash, it leaves it feeling smooth and clean.
A bottle holds 350ml of shampoo and lasts a lnog time. Like I said, I got mine in December. I use it two to three times a week, as I tend to alternate the shampoo that I use.
To match the shampoo there are also Control Freak conditioning and styling products.
Good review - mines more a dryness than frizzy problem though, as I have such long straight hair, so might have to look at some of their other products..kels x

Advantages: smells great, leaves hair squeaky clean, is quick to wash out and quick to dry Disadvantages: the cost, doesnt make a major difference to have "controlled" my hair was
Advantages: Protects Colour, Prevents Frizz, Helps Straighten Out Hair, Protects Hair When Using Heated Styling Implements Disadvantages: The Shampoo Is Gunky, Makes You Think That It Will Make Your Hair Greasy-BUT IT DOES NOT!
Advantages: Gorgeous smell, pretty looking bottle, shiny hair! Disadvantages: May be confused with handwash to people not in the know! And not great really...
