This review is dedicated to Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes who died recently in a car crash while doing charity work. She was the only fatality; the car also included three care workers. It’s awful to think that two fantastic performers have been taken away so early in life (Aalyiah died 21) Left Eye died at 30. She had one adoptive boy and also had a little girl. Although I'm not a huge fan of 'TLC' I have enjoyed their music and style in the past years. This opinion of mine is a 'tribute' to the member 'Lisa Lopes' who fatally died this week and will show the bringing together of the group and her past memories... I was shocked to hear the death of another famous role model through the media this week, just days after the sudden death of the BBC CHOICE 'Liquid News' presenter, Christopher Price, unfortunately Lisa Lopes was taken from us when she had a car crash whilst on holiday. TLC stands for "T-Boz", "Left-Eye" and "Chili" which are the three female band memeber's names. TLC are one of the best R+B groups around. They have been around in the UK since they released their debut UK single "Waterfalls" in 1994. They have released a total of 3 albums, and have had many top 10 hits, including some great catchy songs such as "No Scrubs" and my personal favourite "Unpretty". Their last single "Dear Lie" was somewhat of a flop compared to all their previous hits, only just managing to scrape inside the top 40. However, this was probably due to a total lack of promotion. I have loved TLC since i was little n still do, im always listening to there greatest hits album - Now and Forever is has all the greats on it. The three girls are without a doubt 1 of the most talented groups around and it was a great loss when Lisa (left eye) lopez was taken from us. On Missy Elliott's album - UNDER CONSTUCTION there is a tribute song for the great rap artists we have lost over the years and missy colaborates with the remaining 2 members of TLC - T-boz and Chillie to dedicate the song - Can you hear me, to Left eye, Aalyiah, the notorious B.I.G, Big pun, and 2pac.
