TRESemme Colour Revitalising Shampoo

I bought some of this Tresemme shampoo for my youngest daughter as she likes using the Tresemme conditioner. The bottle was the large size which contains 900ml and it was on special offer in Wilkinson's at just £1.99 for the bottle. This was a great price as it is usually well over £4 for this size bottle anywhere else. It is a good idea to keep a lookout as they often have this brand on special offer in there.

The bottle is quite heavy to carry, so not a good idea to buy both shampoo and conditioner on the same day unless you have someone with strong arms with you to carry it home for you.

The shampoo is especially for people with coloured hair, so as YD dyes her hair (like most teenagers these days) I thought this one would be good for her hair. It says it keeps the colour looking nice for up to 40 washes which is a really good statement. YD coloured her hair about three weeks ago now and washes her hair about every other day, so I reckon she must have washed it about 10 times since then. At the moment the colour in her hair looks just as lovely as it did when she first dyed it. It looks really shiney still and feels nice and soft. The special ingredients in the shampoo are Green Tea, Rosemary, and Sunflower.

When you squeeze out the shampoo, it is really nice and thick and can be quite hard to squeeze out seeing as the bottle is really heavy when full. It tells you to use a liberal amount but we found that you do not need a lot really to froth up your hair and get it nice and clean. It smells lovely when you first put it in your hair and after you have finished washing it you can smell it on your hair even the next day. It also leaves the bathroom smelling nice afterwards. It has a lovely fresh smell to it which I have never found on any other make of shampoo or conditioner.

The hair seems to be very manageable after washing it with the Tresemme shampoo, this might be because it makes it so nice and soft. My daughter brushes her hair out and then uses straighteners on it and she finds after using this shampoo and conditioner it doesn't need so much of the straighteners as it does when she runs out and uses another brand.

I would highly recommend this shampoo if you colour your hair, due to the size of the bottle, it lasts a really long time and if you can get it at a special offer price it is a really good bargain.
