An expensive cable but well worth it.
Advantages: Great pictures and you can connect it to a number of devices. Disadvantages: It is expensive and the cable is quite short.
The Sony male VMC 15HD Video / Audio cable is very cheap for the thing it does which is transfer images. This cable is the future of HD TV I paid £25.00 for this cable. The UK Sony website sells it at £29.00 but there are plenty of other suppliers out there.
This is a great piece of kit for transferring pictures from HD DVD players to HD TVs and still leaves the pictures with a very high picture quality you on the screen with its high rate data ... ...Sony states Gold-plated terminals for much improved signal transmission.
This cable has gold plated connectors "The connectors are the gold bits at either end of the cable that go into the two devices e.g. TV to DVD.
The cable is one and a half meters long this is more than enough cable to connect it up to my new blu ray HD DVD player. This cable has plenty of other uses than connecting TVs up to blu ray DVD players you can connect it up to a Sky ...

A strong link in the chain
Advantages: Keeps Tv slots free to connect freeview etc. Disadvantages: can fall out
I have used one of these cables since I bought a PS2 because my Tv has 2 slots and I have them both used up for a DVD player and a freeview box. This is a very useful devise because you don't have to unplug your DVD player to play the PS2. They are very easy to plug in and stay cool.
This is very good with good picture quality and sound quality. I have noticed though that these can fall out when you really need to see the screen. I was playing Gran ...

John Lewis JLPA02 - With any indoor aerial reception is an issue.
Advantages: Small, easy to move around the room. Disadvantages: High price for low build quality.
...trepidation that I went to John Lewis and was once again bombarded with a selection of indoor aerials, all promising to give me the strongest, cleanest digital TV signal I’d ever seen. I made my choice – the JLPA02 - which was about £25 at the time. Taking it home and plugging everything in, the TV went on. A quick scan with the freeview receiver gave me all of the digital channels except those on the BBC 1 & E4 multiplex, a definite improvement. ... ...and changed the position of the aerial to see where I generally received the best signal. Having settled on a position, I rescanned the freeview box and had the missing channels, with signal at around 50%. This, however, was soon to change. When I woke up the following morning, digital reception was nowhere to be seen. Thinking that the aerial must have moved, I repositioned what I had previously considered the pinnacle of all indoor aerials, and ...

I am in complete control
Advantages: Tough, Easy to use, Not overly Priced (if you ever need a new one) Disadvantages: Mine has tooth marks on
As Sky Plus has began to be a key part of my life I'm now starting to adore the control just as much as the overall service. Coming in a primarily gray colour with a black back and trim (including most of the buttons), the device is well laid out and simple to navigate. At the top are the On/Off button, the Sky Button and the TV button (allowing you to control the TV with the remote instead of needing both a TV remote and a Sky remote lying about ... ...it is on the old Sky remotes allowing you to scroll between programs and channels with ease of just using your thumb to see whats on now and whats on next. The simplicity of sticking a reminder on the programs later the same day is done by pressing select as is changing channel via the scroll menu's an incredibly simple way of navigating a vast number of channels swiftly. The volume control is on the left and the channel change (up and down) is on ...
