. Again, these are two lovable characters and mimic mummy and daddy pig in ways of what females and males generally seem to like and do without being sexist or anything at all so no need to worry there!
The Pig family, like all the other families, are very happy and rarely hold negative emotions which does take it away from real life though only in a good way.

Advantages: Saves space on sky+ , My son loves games Disadvantages: None
in so pretend to be mommy and daddy pig. They both have a go at been the mommy and Daddy but which they enjoy but when ice creams come out for Peppa and George the clothes come off.
8 The school fete
The whole family go to a school and they get there face painted by Rebeccarabbits Mommy but she can only do tigers so there are tigers running around the fete. When they go to buy balloons George wants and Dinosaur but they don't have one so Daddy improvises.
9 musical instruments
They find a box of musical instruments. Mommy pig plays the violin, Daddy plays the accordion and Peppa plays the drum but no one can play the French horn till George has a go
10 Babysitting
Granddad and Grandma Pig are babysitting Peppa and George but Peppa and George are a little over excited so it is a very long evening which ends ...

There is no particular order in which to read these books, but if your child does not know the characters from the TV series it's probably best to start with Peppa's Family, as Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and little brother George definitely appear in the other books as well.
Each book tells a very simple story usually with a different idea on each page. There is just a small amount of text on each page and the story is mainly written in simple sentences. They are all accompanied by illustrations and the characters are exactly as they are seen on television. The ideas are all very simple and show the characters doing lots of fun things. In one or two books there is a tiny amount of speech, but really, if you are an adult reading the book to your child, it's difficult to really get into story ...
