T in the Park 2000! If you weren't there you missed out on an amazing experience. This festival is one of the most Northerly in Britian and is perfect for those among us who can't get down South for the likes of Glastonbury. Ok so you have to expect the unexpected, weather included. This year it did rain, it did get muddy but it certainly didn't dampen our spirits.
The selection of music covered nearly all tastes from Lulu to Death in Vegas. Some of in-tent performances were so popular that people actually stood outside for sets by Coldplay, Embrace and many more.
If you're thinking of going next year here are a few tips:
Get your tickets well in advance because yet again the festival was a sell out.
Take a good tent and camp the weekend
But most of all have a great time, enjoy yourself and then come home and start preparing for next year's T in the Park!

Advantages: Both have excellent lineups, Scottish atmosphere, deeply memorable Disadvantages: TITP - the chances of bad weather, GOTG - lack of traditional atmosphere
