The T-Mobile G1 is an exceptional device which allows you to do everything that you need when you need to do it. In the UK, the device comes with Unlimited Internet Usage, 'Unlimited' Meaning 1GB a Month of Bandwith, and the ability to access all of the applications avaliable on the Application Market. The Application Market is an online section, accessable via the mobile phone, to download various tools, games and various other types of apps, that can be executed on the mobile. Most of the applications are free, however; there are some that charge a small one-time fee, usually less than £1.50 (US $1.99). In my honest opinion the ability to add things, mostly for free, onto your mobile is a major bonus.
The phone also ships with a Youtube application, and using the 3G Internet connection that the phone is compatable with, streams High Qualitiy videos straight from Youtube.
The phone is often updated by google and it shows a "Update Avaliable" Pop-up onscreen, you can then choose to update or update later. The updates are automatically downloaded from the Internet (Via 3G) and installed.
The phone really packs a punch technology wide, the specifications (see below) are high end for such a small device, and this creates a fast, excellent system which is very user friendly, and specifically tailored to everyones needs. From businessmen to Kids!
The only problem I have with the phone, is the weight of the device and that the battery (especially under heavy usage) drains very fast, i charge mine every night, so it isnt a problem for me, but if you plan on doing a few days travelling, Make sure it has been on a 16hour charge before you depart!
Specifications listed from a few sources i have researched, comments are my own.
