TMobile are one of the main mobile phone network providers in the UK. They were originally owned by One2One, who recently sold most of their shared to Virgin as they were in financial trouble. Due to this corporate merger, Tmobile emerged along with the new stores, and the new website.

TMobile as a Network provider;

Tmobile as a network provider could definately be better ( say as orange who offer stronger network coverage) and you find that although its network coverage has definately improved, it is still temperamental.

TMobile as a manufacturer;

Well you can obviously buy quite a few things from TMobile, such as phones, contracts, pay as you go services and even credit.

I haven't bought a phone from a TMobile store as I have a local Carphone Warehouse but I did use the website. http://www.tmobile.co.uk- is the UK site. Here you can order your phones which takes approximately 10minutes to do whilst you enter the order and payment forms and it took allbut a day for my phone to be delivered. TMobile thus get 10/10 for that service.

I have used TMobile stores to buy credit. I have yet to find a store without a queue, but needless to say the staff are often quite helpful and friendly, they ask you if you have a top up card and ask how much you would like to put on to your phone, and also how you would like to pay. I have not had any problems with this particular aspect of TMobile so another 10/10.

I did once try to buy the camera which goes with my phone an found both the website and the store in which I went very unhelpful as they camera was not on display, nor was there any information available inorder for me to find out out anything about it, so in terms of buying some accessories- i woul give 5/10 as I have had since other problems in this area as well.
Ways in which you can top up;

Another way in which you can put credit on to your phone is by electronic top-up cards, vouchers or directly using a debit or credit card. When topping up your account you can only put £10 and up wards in denominations of 5- up to £50 in one transaction. However, if you are using adebit or credit card you can top-up from £5 upwards up to the previously mentioned limit. Vouchers however, can only be purchased from £20 and upwards- which can prove to be quite expensive- Tmobile at one point did have £3 vouchers- but they stopped doing that without warning.

Whenever deciding to top up whether by using a voucher or card, you must dial 150 from your mobile phone and follow the voice prompts. It can take quite a while say 10 minutes, but your account is instantly topped up. If you have registered you card details to your accout, you cn top up your account via text message by entering the last four digits of your card, followed by 05 for £5 or 10 for £10 etc, followed by the last three digits on the reverse of your card also known as the security code. So the information you have entered should for example look like this;

123405236- which is not my actual details but just an example!!!!

you then press send and enter 2525- you should than get a message back confirming the amount you have requeste to be entered onto your account and also then another text messge saying whether or not your payment has been successful. The idea is quite good however I did face a bit of a problem and did not find customer services (which close by the way at 10pm sharp) particularly helpful and it took me 2 days to sort out. But as that has only happened once- I will give this TMobile service 8/10

This service of either topping up by debit card or credit card is quite good and is most certainly secure. TMobile require that the card that you use is both registered to your phone account (whether contract or pay as you go) and that you are the card holder- ie that the card s in your name.
