Advantages Advantages No need for a BT landline.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Signal strength can vary from time to time.

****Web 'n' Walk USB Modem**** Web 'n' Walk USB is a great new concept in mobile Internet. It works through a supplied Mobile phone number from T.Mobile, giving you instant access to the Internet through the supplied USB Modem. This number is only used for Internet access and is not your Mobile number. It is really easy to set up by simply running a CD which installs the USB Manager software icon straight to your desktop. Included in the Manager application is Email, contacts, and statistics, which show your signal strength, upload and download speed etc. It comes supplied with a USB connector ... more

Advantages Advantages You dont need to have a phone line

Disadvantages Disadvantages It does take a while for pages to load

In the past we have had problems with Virgin Media so when a friend recommendated T Mobile Web`n`walk we decided to try this option instead. Where we got the Web`n`Walk We went to the Carphone Warehouse and asked about this option for our internet access and the staff were really helpful, they took all the neccassary information from us and they advised us that this option would cost just £15 per month, but we did`nt have to pay anything up front, then they give us our T Mobile web`n`wak USB Modem. (NO PHONE LINE REQUIRED) Package Description The packaging is like a D.V.D cover with the T ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for surfing the net on the move, downloading music and watching youtube.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Forget about playing online games or downloading large files. 1st line support is indian.

Ive been using the Web & walk 10GB service from T-mobile for about 2 an half years now..If your thinking of getting this service for use at home and not on the move then I do not recommend it, if you have access to landline internet stay away from this, landline is so much more reliable and faster. I originally got this so I could keep playing my online games which I love so much while away from home for long periods.. If your looking to play online games with this service forget it, apart from been disconnected from most game servers because your connection constantly disconnects and ... more

Advantages Advantages internet without a land line

    Disadvantages Disadvantages sometimes bad coverage

This is an idea product if you want the internet but not the hassle of connecting a land line. Sometimes the coverage goes usually for me at 2.30 in the morning but it is good. It's cheaper to have a longer contact but you do have to pay monthly by direct debit. The system requirements are you need 128MB RAM or more plus a hard disc of 50 MB available space plus an operating system of windows XP, windows 2000, windows vista or apple macOS X 10.2.6 Jaguar of higher. Your display has to also be 800 by 600 or above. The CPU: pentium 4, 1 GHz or again above. I would recommend this to any one and ... more
