Better The Devil You Know?

Advantages: Good price plans, Good customer relations (generally)
Disadvantages: Some customer service agents, Secrecy with phone releases, Can have numerous problems

T Mobile are one of the top mobile network operators in this country and in my opinion they offer mostly a great service and seem fairly competitive in terms of pricing, allowance and what they offer within the network.

Within the contract tariffs they offer a few different options for you to choose from, and within those options you have even more options. I don't think T Mobile could be accused of not giving you much choice!

...I will talk about, and is the one I have experience of personally. Within this tariff, you don't have a set amount of minutes and texts that you can use; instead you have an allowance amount (dependant on which tariff/how much you pay per month) and you can use your allowance however you like between minutes, texts, multi media messages and video calling - these all have a set price per minute/unit of usage and thus determine how your allowance gets ... more

Is the "T" for Terrible customer service?

Advantages: Good coverage.....
Disadvantages: Poor customer service

...upon customer services aspects of T-Mobile rather than the actual services offered by T-Mobile as a mobile service provider. The category of this review allows for the writers' own interpretation to a certain point of view as it is left quite open and generic and whilst I do cover the services they offer etc, it is specifically concerning customer service….. (Thanks) !! On the 27 June 2006 I visited the T-Mobile store in Derby to purchase a new ...
...Anyway, I was advised that T-Mobile had some good deals on known as Flext tariffs, so I duly took myself of to the local T-Mobile store, located in the centre of Derby city centre. On entering the store and purposely looking a little in need of assistance, I divulged some of the following requirements to the sales staff; · An up-grade from my (then) current Nokia telephone. · A requirement for a tri-band telephone as I travel Internationally a ...

Advantages: Good Coverage, Excllent Customer Services, Excellent Price Plans
Disadvantages: none

...to meet all your requirements, T-Mobile is one of the worlds leading mobile communication companies and they can provide a service that is second to none and suitable for everyone. A good network/service provider should have something for everyone. The main contenders are, Orange, O2 (previously Cellnet) Vodaphone, Virgin and T-Mobile (previously one2one) they all have different tariffs, price plans and special offers to entice its customers. The ...
...refuse. The network provider was T-Mobile and I thought what the hell, I’ve nothing to loose by giving them a try. I had to sign up for a 12 month contract on a certain price plan that I had to keep for 3 months, after three months I would receive a cheque for 12 months line rental and I could change tariffs if I wanted too. I received my phone and all was well, I contacted T-Mobile to activate the phone and followed their instructions of waiting ...

T-mobile is clearly no longer just for hoopers

Advantages: Good coverage, excellent UK customer service (from Wales!), great value Flex-T plans
Disadvantages: Unused credit doesn't roll over.

...across. Having been with T-Mobile for a year now, I don't expect to move from them anytime soon. Customer service is important to me. I don't want to have to ring these guys up every five minutes (in fact, I've only had cause to speak to a real person at T-Mobile twice) but when I do have to contact them I expect them to answer me promptly, understand what I want and deal with it. I'm prepared to pay more for a good level of service, and thought ...
...however I do find the T-Mobile internet service to be perfectly usable, especially for email, and it is so useful when I have to file a timesheet whilst at a motorway service station or similar! Their Flex-T contract costs me £35 a month, for which I receive £120 value to spend on anytime calls, texts, picture messages and voicemail (12 month contract, I believe you get more for the 18 month version!) They also lump in 10,000 landline minutes off-peak, ...

Flext 35 for the price of my face wash

Advantages: great service and offers
Disadvantages: none for me

When the new T-mobile shop opened in the shopping centre next to my office I went down with a friend to investigate the “excellent 20% off deals” … I wasn’t expecting to find very much if I’m honest. My mobile at the time was nearly 3 years old and pay as you go with another company. I was only using about £10 - £15 of credit a month and a varied mix of texts and calls so I had never gone pay monthly as I had never found one that would work for me ...
...of the time she’s with T-mobile on that contract. Sounded quite a good deal and so I looked into it further for myself. I was more interested in the Flext 35 deal as it would give me £180 worth of credit per month for £35 less the 20% discount. As I stood with my friend whilst she got her phone and everything sorted out I was thinking more and more about doing the same. I ended up going for it. The new phone was the thing that kept swaying me and ...

With This Network You Are Really Spoiling Us

Advantages: Cheap Price Plans, Sim Card Is Cheap
Disadvantages: Often Overlooked

...it is beyond me why T-Mobile is only recommended by 47% of members because it is one of the best tariffs around. Recently One 2 One changed to T-Mobile and they announced that they would make some changes for the better, but I was happy enough with there great service anyway. If you are buying a mobile phone I would definitely recommend T-Mobile to anybody. The sim cards are a very respectable £10 making them almost the cheapest. I have been on ...

T-Mobile Rip

Advantages: The Use Of Unlimited Texts For Life
Disadvantages: It Ended

T-Mobile is Not a good network at all. Their Free weekend and evening texts FOR LIFE ended. How Can They End something that was for life. I Rang up three times, to be told different solutions. "Its a technical fault, it will be fixed in 72 hours" "the offer has ended" "head office will put the offer back on if you write to them." I have written to trading standards too because the offer is still being promoted, yet they will not justify why a FOR Life offer was ended. The offer was very poor and very poorly dealt with. Their customer services where very 'mouthy' so too speak, and spoke like they didnt care, they had no passion in their job, and i got no result. i terminated anything to do with T-Mobile. ...

TMobile

Advantages: You can get very specific help in regards to TMobile products
Disadvantages: Not a very good way to shop around...

TMobile are one of the main mobile phone network providers in the UK. They were originally owned by One2One, who recently sold most of their shared to Virgin as they were in financial trouble. Due to this corporate merger, Tmobile emerged along with the new stores, and the new website. TMobile as a Network provider; Tmobile as a network provider could definately be better ( say as orange who offer stronger network coverage) and you find that although its network coverage has definately improved, it is still temperamental. TMobile as a manufacturer; Well you can obviously buy quite a few things from TMobile, such as phones, contracts, pay as you go services and even credit. I haven't bought a phone from a TMobile store as I have a local Carphone Warehouse but I did use the website. http://www.tmobile.co.uk- is the UK ...

Review of T-Mobile Shop

Good

Advantages: Customer Service, Range of Phones, Price Plans, Cheap mobile internet.
Disadvantages: Expensive daytime calls?

I've read a lot of reviews mentioning they found vodafone had bad service. I found vodafone to have very good customer service, every time I've been to my local vodafone shop they've been very polite and efficient and have not pressured me into buying anything. Vodafone have some good features with their price plans - I especially like stop the clock (where you only pay for the first 3 minutes of a call at evenings and weekends) I've been with vodafone for 3 years now (after being with O2 (who I found absolutely terrible) and T-Mobile (who were ok but their customer service was very bad) and I wouldn't buy an orange phone after having their internet) and I wouldn't hesitate to stay with vodafone for my next phone too. Would recommend them to anybody. ...
