Rockstar games presents Table Tennis is a really good game adapted for the wii controls which it has done well. When you first start playing this you will probably become addicted for a while, especially playing multiplayer.
Features: # 3 different playable game modes (Tournament, Exhibition and Training)
# Single Player and intense head-to-head two player action.
# 3 different control schemes (Standard, Control Freak, Sharpshooter - which one you choose largely depends on how long you've been playing and how easy you find the controls)
# 11 characters (7 male, 4 female) from across the world including players from Japan, Brazil, Sweden, Egypt, the U.S. and more, each with their own attributes and play styles. (Unlockable characters are available)
# Each player has four attributes: Spin, Accuracy, Speed and Power. You need to choose the one which has the best combination of all four.
# Compete in Tournaments from the Rookie Circuit all the way to the All-Star World Championship!
# 11 Training Mode drills, including the all new "Sharpshooter" mode.
# 19 unique venues complete with chanting crowds reacting like a real live audience (Unlockable venues are available)
# Up to four simultaneous profiles, each with their own control mode.
# A unique feature to the game is the slight trail that follows the ball that changes colorl. The color is dependent upon what shot is used and the amount of spin is put on the ball eg. topspin, backspin. This information becomes useful to determine what kind of shot you should use to return your opponents volley.
I've been told that if you are left-handed then this game probably isn't for you as the game becomes a bit redundant. However for the rest of us we should have no problems with the innovative controls.
When I first got this game it becomes very addictive especially once you have been through all training modes and a few practice matches to master the controls. Mastering the controls does not take long and you will soon start winning matches.
These are the controls listed below: Action: Control: Topspin +Control Pad Up Backspin +Control Pad Down Leftspin +Control Pad Left Rightspin +Control Pad Right Activate full focus Hold A and B Manual focus shot Hold B Soft shot Hold A Pause + Change camera 2
To hit the ball in the different places on the table you must swing the wii remote different ways (Tutorial will teach this) e.g. Swing Up and to the Left = Back Left of table
Soft shots are good to use when the opposite player is far back and it sometimes catches them by surprise. Smashes (done by default) are always fun to do. You must Charge your shot- The longer you hold down the +control pad during the swing the more spin and power is applied to the ball. Focus shots are high powered shots that help you to counter difficult shots and help you make winning shots. You can only perform so many (You have a focus meter)
As advice I would use many different shots to mix it up a little and they may end up making mistakes.
However once you have gone through a fair amount of the tournament matched it starts to become a luttle monotonous and you may start to play it a little less, as I have. Although you will return now and again, especially for multiplayer action as this is always fun.
The graphics are not great but a slight sense of realism is obtained sometimes. The crowd chanting adds to this.
The price of this is cheap with amazon charging £17.98. However look on eBay-some great bargains can be snapped up. I paid no more than £10 for it-with delivery!
Overall it is a good game, very playable and fun(especially multiplayer), however you may get bored sometimes, as with many games, but you will return. Good use of the controls is made. 7/10
Advantages: Good game. Fun. Good Graphics. Disadvantages: Takes some getting used to
...Im not the best at table football on an actual table, so playing it in simulation did'nt seem the best idea, but something was telling me to give it a go. I was not too sure wether it would work well on screen and how the controls would work. But i have to say im pleasantly surprized that this is actually a good game. Main Features:
Fast paced table football action Create your own team of Table Football players Play using official rules or create ... ...games using any of the Table footballing rule sets, you may select to play from a number of pitches, also deciding you're team, the opponents and the weight/ material of the ball you wish to use.
Each of you're opponents have a distinctive style of play, each having their own set of skills and tactics!
I have to say that this is not the easiest game to get to grips with, it took me a couple of hours to get used to the controls. Although they seem ...

Advantages: Addictive Gameplay Disadvantages: Controls are hard to memorize
This is a game that has many different modes. There is a mode called Footie Party that is new to the game this year, there is the TableFootball which uses the wii remote as the handle. There is also Keepie Uppies, this evolves flicking the remote in the intended direction. and then shoot! where you flick the remote where you wish tot kick the ball as you save the balls or try to score against footballing legend Ronaldinho. But the casual gameplay off the true game. With family play where the computer moves your player around and you just pass and shoot. But the real thrill of the gameplay is when you use the nunchuck as well. The ability to tricks such as 360's and others adds more fun, by swinging the nunchuck down this allow you to slide tackle the player of shoot. With the ability to choose easily on which type of shot that is ...

Advantages: Another great game in the Fifa francise. Disadvantages: No career mode :(
party games to the Wii. Your guide for the new games is a Mii version of Ronaldinio with those famous bit teeth. The first game is probably the best out all three, Its Tablefootball. The classic game is now here to play on the tele. You use your Wii remote to turn the handles to turn the armless men to kick the ball as usual and u can either use the nunchuk to move the payers up and down or you can use the key pad on the Wiimote. It's so simple and exactly like the real life version so you can expect it's the best our of the 3 party games. The second game is the poorest of them all with no control over what you do or where the ball goes. The aim of the game is to hit targets with various points on them to score. However to aim the ball it is not clear how to direct the ball to hit the Wiimote to the right expecting it to hit to the right but ...
