Introduction: I run out of sockets near the TV with numerous devices near it (the TV, Freeview boxes, game consoles, DVD recorder, DVD player, Digital photo frame, Aerial signal booster etc). One solution is to get another multi-switched extension socket. However this means a lot of plugs and sockets on the floor. Not only they stick out of the TV stand (putting them on top of each other will restrict access to the bottom one) but also a water spill near that area will cause a major disaster - a house fire!
