I was given this book as a present for my birthday. As being an England rugby fanatic and playing the game myself I was very keen to see if I could pick something up off him. I was also very keen to see how he had viewed the world cup from his position in the side. I was able to learn lots more of Wilkinson as a character than of his outstanding rugby career.
As I was reading the book I felt that I could really connect with Wilkinson as a person and a rugby player. I have always been inspired to play rugby and if anything he had inspired me even further to play rugby. Like him I don't want to be out in the spotlight of all the attention, if I get any attention then I want to get that on the rugby field.
