Taer Icelandic Active Firming Serum

I was asked to try this product by a friend after she had no luck with it.

The product claims to 'firm, brighten and protect the skin form the affects of stress and pollution....the skin instantly feels smoother and plumper'. All sounded good to me (although not sure about the plumpness!!).

Applying the product:

The serum was more of a lotion (ie similar consistency to moisturiser) and the only instructions was to use the product once or twice a day before moisturising. It was not clear how much of the product to apply (it just says a small amount). I did vary this over the three weeks I tried the product to see if this made any difference.

The results:

I personally could not see any results from this serum. My skin looked exactly the same as it always does. The serum did absorb nicely into the skin and did have a pleasant, crisp smell but I don't feel I can say that the benefits claimed are actually true.

I have stopped using the product for about a week to see if I can tell the difference but I can't.

Outcome:

I would not recommend buying this product. I am in my mid-30s so I don't know whether it would work better on older skin. I personally would not have paid the price of approx £45 for this either. I only really tried it as it was a freebie from a friend.
