Tala Oven Thermometer

When I moved into my house 2 years ago, I just couldn't get used to our new gas cooker, I had always been used to an electric cooker at my mum's, and I just couldn't get the temperature of this oven right. We were always burning or under cooking our food because we had no idea how hot the oven actually was. When we put it on 200 degrees, we weren't sure if it actually was this temperature, so we always put it up higher but we never knew exactly what temperature we were cooking our food at!

Since we bought this thermometer, it actually shows the same temperature as the oven does, and our oven we have discovered just takes a really long time to heat up. My mums electric oven didn't take long, so this thermometer actually showed our oven temp is right. We were thinking of buying a new oven as we thought it was faulty, so this thermometer has saved us a lot of money!

I came across this tala thermometer on amazon about a year ago and I am so glad I bought it. It cost me around £5 and it was well worth the money. It is really small, it doesn't take up any room at all in our oven.

This thermometer just sits on a shelf in the oven, it has fallen oven a few times, but most of the time it stays put. It is really easy to read the display, it is really clear. It shows the temperature in degrees celsius and also fahrenheit. I have had it a year now and it is still working perfectly.

I am glad I bought this oven thermometer, as I can now tell exactly when my oven is finally up to temperature, it is so handy, reliable and very accurate!
