I bought this product for the first time about a year ago, after having read a couple of favourable reviews on it on Ciao. My eyelashes have always been quite long, but never quite thick enough for my liking, and I'd noticed they seemed to be getting thinner (maybe from using mascara all the time), so I thought it was worth giving a go.
A case of serendipidy Well first a bit of background. Talika claim this product was discovered accidentally by a doctor called Danielle Roches- she was treating patients who had been injured during the second world war and discovered a product she was using seemed to stimulate eyelash growth and Lipocils was born!
The product Appearance- a picture says a thousand words, so see above! However, it may be helpful to know that it is actually sold packed in a blue box, so that if you are looking in stores you know what to look for. There appears to be three sizes avaliable, 4ml, 7ml or 10ml, although I've only seen the 4ml and 10ml on the website. I'd recommend going for the larger size because, trust me, once you've started using this you won't want to stop! There are instructions included in the box, which is handy. You are supposed to use it morning and night every day, which may be difficult for some people to remember. If you're like me, though, and already have a morning and evening skincare routine than it's just a couple of seconds extra to coat your lashes. The most important thing when applying it, according to the instructions, is to ensure you get it onto the roots of your lashes.
One of the nice things about this product is that they actually publish results of clinical tests they have conducted on the internet, and their methods seem to be a bit more rigorous than those of say the so-called "Ponds Institute"
So, does it work? Abolutely- I was a little sceptical at first, as there are so many supposedly miracle products out there that are really just perfumed goop! However, within about 2 weeks of using this I did start to notice that my eyelashes looked thicker. After a couple of months people started commenting on how nice my eyelashes were. In fact, I started taking them for granted and stopped using the product for a few months- until one day I looked in the mirror and thought, hmm, my eyelashes are looking a bit thin again (in truth, they had just returned to their pre-lipocils length)- so it's back to twice daily applications!
Lastly, and most importantly (since I personally won't use any beauty product, no matter how well it works if it has)my research tells me that Lipocils has not been tested on animals. Woohoo!
Disadvantages Well as I've already said- in order to keep your lovely long lashes, you do need to keep using the product. This could get quite expensive, which is why I recommend buying the larger size!
I've heard people say that their eyes have been red and/or sore when using this product but I have only had minor issues occassionally when I have accidentally got a bit of the product in my eye.
Availability is also a bit of an issue- there are only about 4 distributors within the UK, according to Talika's website, and I when I looked in Selfridge's in London (one of the named companies) I was unable to find it. Consequently I have ordered it from the website- this is a bit more expensive as you then have to pay for postage, and of course, means you have to wait for the product. In addition, I have found they use a bit too much packing material in the postage (why not just buy smaller size boxes for posting- it's not that fragile a product!)- this is a concern for me, as I hate having to dispose of all that missing matter.
In conclusion, then I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve their eyelashes, but please Talika, ease up on the packaging.
Advantages: Makes eyelashes grow Disadvantages: A bit painful sometimes
...curler, and was basically bald. Talika state that the following people should use it: - Anyone who buys mascara for longer and thicker lashes
- Women who have short lashes
- Women who have sparse lashes
- Women who have lost or are losing their lashes.
I can check all boxes, so quickly bought it! The directions are relatively simple-remove all traces of eye make-up and then apply the Talika gel every morning and night. You must be sure to apply ... ...Softens, calms, heals Talika are the only company in France which can make a solid claim of stimulating eyelash growth and clinical tests have been carried out in order to provide evidence of eyelash growth and over 80pc of those tested reported enhances growth. The figures are very high (I saw the results) and when you mix science and beauty so convincingly, you usually get my Visa card.

...looking. When I read about talika lipocils on the net I was very excited about the idea of a product being able to stimulate lash growth, that this could sort my horrid lashes. This isnt a mascara, its a clear gel that should be used twice a day for 28 days. BUT you must carry on using it still otherwise if you stop your eyelashes will go back to nromal. At first I saw this as a problem( a very expensive one), but this is my one favourite beauty ... ...and curling were damaging them. Talika lipocils protects them and prevents further damage aswell as encouraging lash growth with its liposomes. The product is mainly made of plant extracts which somehow stimulates the hair folicles deep down in the eyelashes. Check out http://www.eyelashes.hypermart.net/ which shows a before and after picture and some more useful info on the product. Also i guess www.talika.com wil help but i havent been able to ...

Quick review of Talika Lipocils
WOW!!! This product really works! I did my research before I bought Talika Lipocils, by looking at their website (www.talika.com) and reading up on the product. I was intrigued by the clinical tests they had conducted on their products, and likened to Talika due to the fact that their products contain natural extracts. I must admit I was thinking that this sounds too good to be true!! but, I can tell you, I have been using lipocils for three weeks now after some of my eyelashes fell out, and the results are amazing!! my eyelashes are gorgeous, i'm lucky because I am blessed with long eyelashes, but they are really fine and were always falling out. Not now!! They are so strong and look noticably longer and thicker. Thankyou Talika !!! ...

Advantages: Keeps lashes ''thick'', Multi-Purpose use, gentle. Disadvantages: Watery, Not a ''gel'' formula, Irritates eyes, thick big brush comb.
Introduction
Talika Lipocils is an eyelash gels which claims to treat your lashes and give them a little boost in their growth. I practically stole this off my sister months ago and tried it out. Although the few moans and gasps, I still do use it.
Read on to hear my say...
Packaging
The juice is stored in a rather short and fat tube, basically a mascara tube but rounded and big.
Pros
- Works well as multi-purpose on the eyebrows.
- My lashes ... ...mascara
Cons
- Watery, not exactly a ''gel'' formula.
- Whilst applying it, the formula drops into my eye and irritates.
- Big and thick eyelash brush comb.
Personal Opinion
I used this as a eyebrow groomer and as a mascara which makes up for my anxiety of how the formula is very ''watery''. Sometimes it irritated my eyes because the brush was big that it would drop the liquid in my eye and poke it during application.
Suitability
I say that ...

Advantages: Really works! lengthens, thickens & conditions!, different sized tubs Disadvantages: Expensive, hard to find
When i first heard of this product I was skeptical about it's claims.
"Talika's Lipocils Eyelash Treatment Gel combats this with specific, natural ingredients. In just 28 days eyelashes grow naturally longer and thicker."
No product can make your eyelashes grow in a month i thought! Well I was wrong!
I decided to purchase this after being fed up with my thin straight lashes which never seemed to look any better with mascara! After reading numerous ... ...not seen this anywhere on the high-street - I vaguely remember QVC selling it but now it's a cancelled item! so online i went to search for it!!
I bought the 10ml bottle as it seemed better value than the 4.2ml and started using it as soon as i received it.
The formula itself is just like clear mascara - a clear gel substance but it isn't as thick as the mascara.
so every night for two or three weeks i applied the gel to my top and bottom eyelashes ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Pretty much everything about it.
, because they were so oily, i had to use face wipes after this! This seemed like a lot of hassel when i was tired and dying for bed! I couldnt wait to get back to England and buy a new mascara!
I also found that my eyelashes started falling out quite dramatically! Now i'm back home i'm looking to invest in TalikaLipocils, an eyelash growth treatment, which costs around £25!!! So for the deal i thought i was getting originally (£3) its actually cost me alot more! A bunch of eyelashes and £28 quid!! Grrr!!
If you are looking for an extra, extra strong waterproof mascara though, it did work well in this aspect. It worked when in the shower, in the pool, in the sea, and didnt smudge in the extravagant heat either!
Personally, i would not recommend - as if you hadn?t already guessed that! There are plenty of other waterproof mascaras ...
Advantages: No need to damage lashes with metal curlers Disadvantages: Quite pricey with needing to buy batteries.
This is also one of my fave beauty products along with talikalipocils. You've probably guessed I like dressing my eyelashes ; ) I dont know why I waited so long to buy this eyecurl. It is a hotbrush type tong that is used after mascara application and the heat 'melts' the curl in place.Actually it was probably because i didnt have any credit/debit cards to use over the internet. Because of that i bought a model co one from space nk which costs £25. What a total rip off, it was crap. It looks sleek and stylish but because of that it only takes aaa batteries whereas the eyecurl takes aa batteries which cause the curler to heat up at a higher temperature in a quicker amount of time.
When i had the model co one i was probably put off buying another heated curler, and especially that the eyyecurl looked chunky (didnt realise it took AA ...
