I used to really hate my short stubby lashes no amount of mascara could make them look decent, just all clumpy and dry looking. When I read about talika lipocils on the net I was very excited about the idea of a product being able to stimulate lash growth, that this could sort my horrid lashes.
This isnt a mascara, its a clear gel that should be used twice a day for 28 days. BUT you must carry on using it still otherwise if you stop your eyelashes will go back to nromal. At first I saw this as a problem( a very expensive one), but this is my one favourite beauty product that i cannot live without.
I prefer eyebrow lipocils, this has the exact same ingredients as lipocils but has a different sponge applicator which makes it much esier to apply and you can get more product out of the tube. Unfortunately eyebrow lipocils seems to be discontinued so i have to make do with the lipocils brush which is a bit stiff and can make my eyes water but am really used to it. I have been using this product for 2 years straight everyday. I have never gone through a day without it (apart from trying other products which ill explain later). Its just naturally part of my daily routine, just like brushing my teeth.
It is expensive and is available at £20 for 10ml, and the p&p is £4 which is £24 in total. Although now i prefer to get mine on www.qvcuk.com at £16.68 and the p&p is £2.45 which in total is just £19.13. Its a pity they stopped selling eyebrow lipocils because this worked better and was cheaper.
When i started using this product, I could see in the first couple of weeks that my lashes were growing longer and the inner corner of my eyes started growing new baby lashes. I was very impressed. I also use this on my eyebrows which improved the appearance of my brows. At first my eyebrows looked really bare but now they look totally normal, fortunately my eyebrows have still maintained its look even when i stopped using the product on them (just totally forgot to use on brows for a long time). I realised that after a month using the product on my eyelashes i stopped and could see my eyelashes were going back to thier normal self. The mascara applying and curling were damaging them. Talika lipocils protects them and prevents further damage aswell as encouraging lash growth with its liposomes. The product is mainly made of plant extracts which somehow stimulates the hair folicles deep down in the eyelashes. I always come back to talika lipocils. When I couldnt get any for a while i tried micheal diCesare aquabiotic which i admit was excellent and good value for money. But after a while it stopped working, i also tried zino eyelash enhancing serum which was bought in hong kong and can be found on www.sasa.com. This was nowhere near as good as talika.
The disavantage is that the brush is quite harsh and it isnt too comfortable applying it. But that wont stop me from using it as its my all time favourite beauty product. I recommend this to people with short lashes who are pretty fed up. Try this it really works! I buy a talika lipocils tube every month which isnt pretty bad but the results are worth it.
