Too good to be true
It certainly looked like the best deal. I ordered smartphone and 24 month contract @ £18pm but 10 days later was still waiting. They let me know there was a back-log but failed to inform me that they wanted a £100 deposit. I had to contact them to discover this, and they said it was following a credit check from Experian. I checked with Experian and I have an excellent rating. They also confirmed that Talk Mobile had NOT contacted them for a credit check. Obviously just a reason to hold some of my cash and, after consideration, not worth the £2/month saving i would be making over other offers.Two weeks later and have cancelled the order as i really don't want them to hold £100 of my money for six months on some unidentified flimsy reason.
Pretty useless service. They even used the phrase 'computer says no' thinking it might cheer me up in some way after all the frustration. After the experience I certainly wouldn't enter into a 2yr agreement with them. I'm staying with Virgin.
