I discovered lotto can be traced back to the year 1530 a lottery game" Lo Giuco de Lotto"originated in Italy. The game still played every Saturday. Now a form of this game is played in many countries. One form is often called bingo. Basically lotto is a game where a group of people play together each has a card with numbers or pictures on, there is a person who acts as caller and that person calls out a number and the person who has that number on his card covers it up and the first person to get all the numbers on his card is the winner.
The lotto game I am going to talk about is the farmyard tales picture lotto made by Usbourne toys. The illustrations by Stephen Cartwright.
I have played with many lotto sets with children during my working life and the Usbourne set is one we have at school.
This set costs £6.99p. You can buy ...

Advantages: Learn words and phrases quickly and easily. Disadvantages: Your landed with the responsibily in speaking ALL the Spanish on holiday
I study Spanish at school, but still wanted to get an advantage for my first trip there. I bought this CD from play.com. I uploaded it onto my iPod and listened to it all the way there.
Earworms uses a unique method of music (don't worry it's not a great spanish sing along) there is a voice that speaks over a beat like this Hello (beat beat) Hola (beat beat) Hello etc. It progresses onto much harder things towards the end of the C.D. And the great thing is, it dosen't even feel as if you have to try to learn it.
I was greatly supprised when I arrived in Spain having learnt a great deal of words. Although it did mean I was landed the responsibility of ordering all the food on holiday.
A really productive and affordable way to learn Spanish, there is also a second volume featuring more complex words and phrases. ...
Compared with most Europeans, we British are generally poor at speaking other languages. There are many reasons for this including bad teaching, the fact that we are an island ( and so physically apart from the rest), the growing number of foreigners who speak English, and a long, stubborn tradition that it?s somehow ?clever? or amusing not to be able to speak another language. Yet there are those who want to, but are unsure how to start. I suggest they invest in a TalkNow CD, and see what fun it can be.
As I write this, the Eurotalk company offers over 70 languages, and the beginners? CDs cost £24.99. This is not cheap, but depending upon what you want it can be excellent value. More about that later. They do sometimes have special offers and promotions.
As soon as the CD begins you are impressed by how straightforward ...
