I think the car looks more like an American doctors car to me I have not seen an emergency car like this in the UK. There is a first aid blue star like emblem on the vehicle roof and side.
Personally I would prefer to buy an English style doctors /emergency vehicle for use with children in Britain but You may wish to use this car either in America or with an American child or for a topic involving the need for an American emergency vehicle.

Advantages: Good for teaching children the alphabet/letters Disadvantages: Can be annoying for adults
...I bought this for my 2 yr old twin niece & nephew and they absolutely loved it. Can be attached tp fridge but they carried it around for ages pressing the letters to hear the rhyme. Very repetitive rhyme for each letter which can be annoying for adults but helps them learn te letters and within hours they knew quite a few letters which I thought was amazing for their age. Will definitely be buying my daughter one when she's old enough (this xmas !!) Also very colourful and says each letter both ways ie adult and child (phonic sounding) ways. Also has a music button which plays the alphabet song and uses the English version of Z rather than AMerican....
