Tammy Girl is one of my favourite shops. It is a girls clothing shop, my local ones do ages 7-16. It is the little sister of woman's shop Etam, and can normally be found in or upstairs from an Etam.
PROS: It stocks a nice range of clothes, such as trousers, skirts, t-shirts, zip-up tops, and accesories like bags, socks, jewellery and underwear. It is very good for jeans and will often have good offers on t-shirts.
The prices are average. Cheaper than Gap, more expensive than Primark. You can expect to pay: Jeans : Around £25. T-shirts: £7-£10. Bags: around £6 Socks: £2-£3 for a single pair, £5 for a pack of 3 or 4 Jewellery: £2-£3.
The staff are nice. The shop is always tidy, and there is enough space to move around without having a pile of t-shirts on top of your head.
CONS:
Some of their clothes are just plain weird! You can get very unusal tops, with bizarre pictures and logos.
I am quite a skinny person, but can fit into most jeans. I brought a pair from Tammy home, correct for my height and age. They fell right down! I know that they do a range for lager children, do they do one for skinny kids? (Also these jeans had nowhere to put a belt, so I had to take them back.)
Also, all their stock is for most ages, it's odd to see a 7 year old parading around in a t-shirt saying " I like boys, they're stupid" or sporting a playboy logo!
I like tammy a lot, and my friends do too..

Advantages: Some good clothing, lasts long time! Disadvantages: Greebo (blacks, pink), manky granny ponchos. Items not always in stock. Smells of pringles. Racks squashed up. Changing rooms have chewing gum and curtains that dont close properly!
