I got these at Currys as I needed a basic set of speakers for an old Panasonic amplifier I found.
Getting them out of the box, they immediately felt a lot heavier than I expected for the money, and felt well-built and sturdy. Not bad at all, I thought.
Anyway, onto the important aspect - sound quality. By nature I am a Hi-fi enthusiast, but wasn't exactly expecting the world of these diminutive items.
How wrong I was!
The sound quality really is excellent, helped by the presence of a soft-dome tweeter helping to provide a full and clear treble band, and a 100mm woofer provides a lot of low-end thump.
Don't let the size put you off - these miniature wonders can thump tunes out like there's no tomorrow.
The 60w power figure isn't exactly generous either - I whacked these on full for hours on end, nearly bringing the house down, with no ill effects. These speakers know how to go loud!
All in all, if you're thinking of buying these - don't delay! they truly are amazing.
