The instructions sheet is quite useful as it has everything from how to hold your guitar too chord shapes and truss rod adjustment. It covers the four main types of guitar; bass, electric, acoustic, and classical. It has information on how to re-string your guitar and take care of it too. It is very useful.
The gig bag is not that great. It is a very snug fit and offers no protection what so ever as it is not padded in any way. It only has one carry handle and no straps. The pocket in it is not A4 sized so you have to fold your music to fit it in. Not great but you have to remember it was free.
The box itself, is your basic cardboard guitar box with pictures of the guitar and the accessories that come with it. It boasts a plastic carry handle (exciting stuff), and the tanglewood logo.

...I purchased this electro-acoustic just over a year ago, and I have been very impressed with it. Certainly up against my old Acousitic it is emminently playable - the neck is pretty narrow and the action nice and low while still having decent enough sustain. The pick and preamp are also solid units and the EQ works very well for the tone control. The only problem I have found is that top end acces is restricted somewhat since the cutaway is not very deep, and therefore some higher notes are awkward to hit. Considering the price paid, this seems in every way a good buy. Tanglewood are now churning out some top quality produce....

...buying an instruction book of Spanish music. The one I learn from is ‘Solos Flamencos’ by Juan Martín. It comes with CD and a DVD to help you learning flamenco guitar. The pieces in it are great and I’d be happy to listen to them as normal music! I think it cost £15 on Amazon.co.uk.
I am very very happy with my Tanglewood. If you are intermediate level, or a rich beginner then I recommend this guitar totally. There is nothing really to dislike about it that I’ve found yet.
