Advantages: Amazing sound and build quality Disadvantages: May not be to everyone's taste

These speakers are an amazing piece of tech, which can make a beautiful edition to your living room.
Sound.
I can?t fault these speakers for sound. They produce a meaty sound which makes explosions roar and are detailed enough so that you can pick out every crunch and chime from the shattering of glass. Music sounds bright and has depth. The bass box can be adjusted and its big sound blends with the other speakers. The Tannoys are loud enough to easily fill your room with sound or even have you pinned to the back wall. These speakers never sound small or weak.
Looks and tactility.
These speakers look and feel brilliant. They are a beautiful blend of high quality materials. Even when turned off they make a huge contribution to any room by being eye catching but not imposing. I have these speakers on the stands which ...

Advantages: Very clear, very crisp Disadvantages: slight lack of bottom end! Tho I wouldnt frett.
Finally ! After 2 years i've got my small home studio together. Why so long? laziness and a sheer huge ammount of university work to do, that's why.
Im Welsh but you could forgive me for being Scottish by my meaness when it comes to forking out for equipment (only joking, no offence to any Scottish, just mirroring an urban myth of being tight with the cash heh.)
The Tannoy Reveal Actives come in at around £359. Believe me I've been to every single site to find the cheapest price and they all more or less (+-10%) fizzle off at that price. I was told about these monitors a while ago and that if I wanted to use them for dance music that I should think twice! Whoever that was, they got it wrong. These babys boom loud let me tell you. Advantages: the best sound an connectivity on the market for the price Disadvantages: no optical connection, but its a 2.1 anyway
se the sound quality is exceptional especially for a 2.1 system, hdmi upscaling (1080i) is very good and a noticable improvement in picture quality, the surround sound effect works very well it has an effect called ambisound that sends out the sound all around you an bounces it off the walls, it sounds very good
the active sub is superb with deep clear bass an theres loads of connections for other devices including USB, IPOD dock, hdmi, digital out, 2x aux inputs, scart an tv input.
theres not anything to fault about this product. the best 2.1 HTS on the market for the money well reccomended to any one who wants a 2.1 that gives great surround sound effect
