I bought an extractor fan form this company in October 2009 and they sent the product reasonably quickly. I soon realised that they had sent the incorrect version of the fan and so I contacted them via their online form to ask for a returns procedure. I had no response and so tried again - this time with a response which included a returns form. I filled in the returns form and sent it back to them. I bought online from Taps4Less a mixer tap for a washbasin, costing £95.99. When fitted it turned out to be totally unsuitable, producing a flow of only one litre per minute from a pressure of 0.2 bar, which is a perfectly normal pressure from a gravity-fed water system, as found in most UK bathrooms. Nowhere on the Taps4Less website does it state the water pressure required for this or most other taps that they sell. "Dont use, you wont get refunded if something goes wrong" I ordered a waterfall tap from Taps4Less, after 5 weeks and multiple promises it never got delivered. I cancelled the order to be told it would take 30 days to refund. 6 weeks in no refund and wont respond to my emails and never can reach accounts to discuss refund by phone. Next step, I am going to visit their premises personally. I am also having a tough time with Taps4Less. In summary: I ordered taps online, I paid, they processed the order. They gave me several designated delivery dates - each time no delivery. I phone and emailed. They confirmed more delivery days online and on the phone. Finally they told me the product was not even available. I checked with the supplier - the taps had been discontinued in May 2011 and I had been led to believe I could have them (in September 2011). Any company can make a mistake. The wrong item was sent despite a clear and accurate desciption of the correct item appearing on the invoice. The received item was also broken. I suspect that the item was a returned item put into the wrong box because the packaging looked like it had been opened and not carefully repackaged hence the subsequent damage. Even this I would have forgiven, if the after sales service remedied the problem. During my call it was explained that despite the item being sent being the wrong one that this was not their fault.
