The play Tartuffe by Moliere is a five act comedy about a con-man named Tartuffe. Tartuffe acts as a pious man in order to gain the confidence of a noble named Orgon, and to intricate himself in to Orgon's household. However, everyone, aside from, Orgon, see Tartuffe for the trickster he is. Tartuffe is revealed for the man he his when caught in the act of seducing Orgon's wife. Moliere combines both the genius of Shakespeare's plays and the low humor of slap-stick comedy it to an enjoyable and fascinating play. While I find the cover a put off, do not let that stop you from buy this amazing play. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to put on a simple but entertaining play.
