They wouldn't take my money - so I took theirs! Advantages: Entertainment value nothing else Disadvantages: Untrained staff, unhelpful, inpolite, bad communication, lots of other nasty things I could say I've had bank accounts since before I can remember. As a youngster, I was always a keen saver, and thought banks were marvelous. They always seemed to pay me money - for nothing. They were always offering free gifts, sent nice birthday cards and magazines ... Banking made Simple Advantages: Moving with the times, flexible Current Account Offerings, good branch network Disadvantages: Still very much a reactive service, not a proactive banking provider.. ...I am not sure what the statistics are for switching banks, but I guess most people do not do it very often, primarily because of the perceived hassle involved, particularly with maintaining direct debits. Shockingly bad service Advantages: None whatsoever Disadvantages: To many to list here ...a doubt obtaining a loan through Lloyds TSB is the worst thing I have ever done in my life. I don't have a DREAM, but I do have a RANT. Advantages: Banking service, personal loans, student loans, mortgages, car insurance, house insurance and other additional services that are available, including TORTURE. Disadvantages: All the services mentioned above, are completely useless on the long run.
