Taxan Ergovision Monitor 735 TCO99
Introduction
The oldest looking piece of kit I use at work is this monitor. Taxan is part of a Japanese electronic company who have been around since 1981 and have been a leading producer of monitors. This CRT (cathode ray tube) monitor works by basically firing electron beams through a vacuum at a screen to produce a picture. This picture is what we see when we look at a monitor.

This monitor is a bit old school for me, it weighs as much as a death star if your trying to move it and nearly takes up as much room as one to. The display itself is still in good condition considering its age ...

This is an excellent 17" monitor which I have had for about 4 years now. Although at the time it was very expensive, it has proven to be a very good investment as 17" monitors are now becoming the standard, which means that more and more web pages and games will be designed for higher and higher resolutions.
The monitor has lots of tools in its OSD (on screen display) for perfecting the picture display, such as trapezoid, top, central and bottom pin cushion adjustments, display rotation, colour separation levels, Moire pattern clear, etc. Of course it also has the usual brightness, contrast and colour adjustments.
I have not had a single problem with this monitor, and it gets a fair bit of use. When it finally does give up, or it's time to upgrade, I will definitely look at a Taxan again. ...

We have now reached the half way point in the Friends story with Season 5 and this is where the characters and their storylines have become very established and we feel like we really know them and that they are our actual friends. We feel their pain, laugh at their character stereotypes which we know so well and cry at their misfortunes.
This DVD box set was released in 2004 and amazingly you can now buy it from Amazon for a very low £5.98, probably because it is over 5 years old and because the re-runs are on the television all the time that people really no longer need to buy the DVD but I think it?s nice to have the full set so you can watch your favourite episodes whenever you want to.

This projector delivers 2500lm and weighs only 1.8kg. The SD Wireless LAN card is standard equipment, eliminating the need for an RGB cable and restrictions on where the projector can be placed. Improvements in Advanced Color Wheel (ACW) make color reproduction even better. More precise software control makes images both sharper and more colorful. Turn the power on and images appear within 18 seconds. Then, when your presentation is over, the cooling fan stays on when you turn the projector off, even when it is unplugged.
