I have a 24 track digital recording studio where I compose material. In the past I have tried recording with a number of main brands e.g. fender, takamine, ovations, martins etc the sound would be good but it never smacked me in the side of the head and said wow this is it (guitar players will know what I mean)

Noel recommended that I tried out the Taylors so we go through the series eventually I came to the 414 and wow is exactly what I thought, the sound, the feel of the neck and fingerboard this guitar was so well built it appeared to compensate for my poor playing, it was about £1700 but well worth it. My day was not complete yet when I got home and plugged the guitar into the desk the fishman blender pick up system just made the guitar come to life. Well done Taylor, Well done Noel at Sheehans.
For the people who requested some spec on the guitar: Sitka spruce top, ovangkol back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, fishman stereo blender pickup system allows mixing between an under saddle pickup and a microphone system within the guitar, the sound the top end just sparkles.
I use it in stereo with a marshall as100d accoustic guitar amp.
