Advantages: Sold my house at asking price Disadvantages: I don't receive service like that everyday
Moving house is said to be one of the three most stressful things you can do,(besides bereavement and divorce). The last thing you want or need from your estateagents then is bad service, incompetence or inability to do the job.
Fortunately for me, I got none of these. The estateagents we chose to sell our flat a few months ago I could not praise highly enough.
Why did we choose Connells?

With a little baby, we had been thinking of selling and moving for a while, so when we were in estateagents asking for house particulars, we were interested to see how they reacted to us and potential buyers, so we had an idea what they would be saying about our property behind our backs!

We signed up with Connells because they promised us wide customer base, good reputation and good advertising coverage on their website, Rightmove and local papers. When signing us up, they agreed that the price we were asking was reasonable for the size of property and its location. One week into our contract, first buyer makes an offer that's considerably less than the asking price and Connells actively do everything in their power to convince us to accept that offer because in their opinion market conditions aren't good. Advantages: reputable well known name.friendly staff with offices in prime locations. Disadvantages: cant think of any disadvantages....
Bradford and Bingley estateagents are placed in prime locations and offer an excellent service from valuation through to completion.The offices are spacious well maintained and as you may expect from such an established name the service is next to none.
The properties for sale are displayed both in the estateagents offices and the branches of Bradford and Bingley which is useful.....as you can peruse the available houses whilst waiting to pay your mortgage......
The web site is excellent...very easy to use and the illustrations and descriptions of properties are very detailed. It is updated regularly and has several useful links for potential homebuyers.
