...Pioneer is well respected manufacturer for top quality home cinema products, and it ranks amongst the top few manufacturers of DVD players, up there with Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic. Pioneer is well known for impeccable build quality and excellent performance and the DV-626D is a brilliant example of just what Pioneer can do. After searching though review magazines and browsing the internet, I decided the pioneer was the one to go for. Advantages: Sheer good quality honest sound reproduction, and the base woofers for such a small unit are exceptional.
Disadvantages: None

...I wanted a retro-looking music player for our newly re-furbished kitchen, and went for this in black. I had listened already, and knew it would be good. Particularly special are the bass woofers that give it a much "larger" sound. This probably adds to the overall weight, but when you un-pack it, it feels really solid and well-made. Whilst it's not DAB (I think they are planning this soon if not already), the radio is superb, with even the little thin aerial wire doing a great job with the signal (in my area anyway). The remote is just the right size and has the necessary functions for operation. The CD player is very accurate and has the most brilliant sound and this in a unit that cost less than £100 pounds. Overall it does a great job, and is a wonderful advertisement for the Teac brand name.... Read review

...I bought this tv from Currys, for about £379. The attractive black and silver finish DMTech LM20D provides all the benefits of space-saving LCD television, plus a built-in DVD player. DVDs slot neatly into the side, eliminating the need for additional equipment. Setup is a easy as pie with automatic tuning. With a matching table top stand. The stylish tv can also be used as a pc monitor which is very handy. There is one scart port which can be uesed for a playstation for example. There is a handy tool on the remote that lets you put a timer on the tv so it turns off in an hours time for example. I suggest you remove the `jingle` played when you turn on/off, amusing at first but, then becomes irritating.... Read review
