****Teach yourself Italian*****

I came across this pack when i decided to take a crash course in higher Italian in 5th year(Scottish version of A levels).I liked its claims that you could progress quickly beyond the basics and explore the language in depth.All for less than £20!!!

The pack itself contains a book(which can be bought by itself) and 2 cds.

**Cds**
These contain dialogues from the book and exercises in listening and speaking.Since i had a teacher i didn't use these very much but they were good for extra practice.

**The book**
The book is split into 25 chapters which i think is quite a lot for 357 pages but it makes it really easy to find the part that you are looking for.

Each chapter contains dialogues followed by the meaning of key phrases in a box to make it stand out.You then have questions on the text followed by pronunciation and grammar sections.Then more practice :-).The chapter ends with more information on what you have just learnt to say.

In all i think that this series is a must have when it comes to learning languages and i have used it for a few. It is good if you are on your own as it is easy to follow or if you have a teacher and just want a little bit of extra practice.
This is in my opinion one of the better ones for itailan and easier to follow than buongiorno italia or hugos learn italian in 3 months series(books teacher used)
The price is also very good as well,much cheaper than paying for a course at college!!
