It is his story of what happened to him when he went to World Cup France '98, and what his feelings were at different points. It covers both his highs and lows, from being in the stadium against Argentina and feeling so good, to being on the beach when the riots started and being tear gassed when it was the Tunisian fans causing the trouble. He puts accross many examples of when the police seemed to single out the English, more because of their reputation than anything else.

It is definately a must read for all true football fans, and it will make you want to have been there for yourself. I have read it about 5 times now and it has encouraged me to go to the world cup one day. It is the book that first made me want to go to watch England play football and it is great.
For £6.99 it is definately value for money. Buy it.
